Quality Assurance Advisor (UK/Europe)

About the Role -

Working in the QAQC department of the company. Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Work as Fearnley employee inside client’s office, as Quality Assurance Advisor and Coordinator in support of contract between the client and Fearnley Group

  • Lead Supply Chain Auditor (Quality Management Systems and Inspection practices).

  • Act as immediate operational focal point for the client, representing best interests of Fearnley Group

  • Assists in the continuous improvement of quality processes and reduction of project non-productive time

  • Assist in daily supervision of appointed field engineers on Fearnley Group and related operations

  • Ensure field reporting, end of well reporting and operational updates are compiled for review and submission

  • Ensure utilization and completeness of Fearnley Group online reporting system and observation tracking

  • Act as conduit between client and Fearnley Group TCoE (Technical Centre of Excellence) with regards to failure investigations and technical enquiries

  • Assist client and vendors with Quality Control Plan, Integrated Test Plan, Preventive Maintenance Inspection Testing Plans and Quality Plan Inspection Matrixes

  • Assist client with other related QAQC matters where applicable

Must have experience in the following-

  • Experience and solid understanding of the industry standards to which we work to NS-1, NS-2, DS-1, API 

  • Proven track record in a similar role with a practical understanding of Quality

  • Techniques for the implementation of Quality Management Systems.

  • Excellent knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001, API Q1 and API Q2. lead auditor experience (supply chain auditing) ISO 9001 qualified lead auditor or API Q1/Q2 auditor. Six Sigma experience.

  • Excellent knowledge on Drilling &; Completions, Subsea and associated equipment.

  • Highly experienced in NCR management.

  • Degree, Higher National or equivalent qualification

  • Conventional Oil & Gas - Wells UK

  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and use of Power BI.

  • Confident communicator and team player
