QAQC Completions Engineer (Europe Rotation)

Job Title: QAQC Completions Engineer
Start Date: Immediately
Envisaged Duration: Long-Term

This role will be responsible for implementing QAQC for planning, designing, and executing well completions to optimise well performance and ensure efficient production. This role involves working closely with the drilling, reservoir, and production teams to ensure that completion operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in line with the company objectives and industry standards.

The QAQC Completions Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

·      Focused on Completion Equipment from your current expertise and knowledge and Drillgstring Equipment
·      Implementation of Inspection Programs and Standards
·      Implementing Clients Quality Plans, Test Programs, etc.
·      Expediting Orders as required to Production Schedules
·      Third party monitoring of inspection companies
·      Producing the necessary reports covering your work activities
·      Knowledge for the release of equipment fit for purpose
·      Monitoring of equipment assembly and disassembly
·      Witnessing of pressure testing, etc. as per customer requirements
·      Working in accordance with the Company’s Procedures and Quality System
·      Implementing the Company’s inspection standards along with Client’s other standards where applicable
·      Knowledge and understanding of the different specifications
·      Drillstring & Completion Failure Prevention
·      Drillstring & Completion Equipment Technical Procurement
·      Drillstring & Completion Equipment Pre-load out Audits
·      Auditing of machine shops, supply companies and pre-load out equipment verification checks

Knowledge & Experience

As a minimum the incumbent will have:
·      Minimum 5 years of experience in well completions in the Oil & Gas Sector.
·      Strong knowledge of completion design, equipment and techniques.
·      Proficiency in completion software and data analysis tools.
·      Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
·      Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
·      Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
